1. I want to purchase from you - how does it work?

You have to create an account under ‘Sign up’ (Link).

We basically sell only to traders; therefore we need your trading licence!
You can attach it as a file during registration, or send it per e-mail (bestellung@s-w-stoffe.com), fax or by ordinary mail.
[You are already customer of us? Then just send us an informal e-mail with this information and we will release you.]

After verification we will release your account as soon as possible.
Then you can see the prices of items and order.

 


 

2. What is the minimum order quantity, and how many meters will be delivered?

There is no minimum order quantity.

However it is mandatory to take complete coupons. Coupon lengths are marked in item descriptions.

Please note, that deviations of coupon lengths cannot always be avoided.

 


 

3. What is a coupon?

Coupon (also named roll) describes the shape, in which a fabric is folded and winded in length in order to achieve a more manageable size.

 


 

4. What is the process of an order?

After you have placed items into the shopping basket and completed the order by clicking on ‘Checkout’, you will immediately receive an automated e-mail confirming your request.
We will arrange your order and ship it.

Usually in the course of the day of your order you will receive an e-mail with details on the amount and/or the availability of items.
This e-mail is for information only and the order cannot be changed after receipt of the e-mail.

If an item is not available, it will be marked as ‘Sold out’.
If an item will again be available soon, it will be marked as ‘Placed on backorder’ and the item will usually be shipped free of charge.

 


 

5. What are the payment terms for new clients?

New customers receive an invoice after their first order, which they have to pay in advance.
If this invoice is settled, the order will be shipped.

From the second order will be sent on invoice with the following payment deadlines:
10 days with 4% discount
30 days net cash
Third to fifth order will only be shipped when the previous invoice is paid.
Thereafter purchasing on account is possible with a maximum balance of €1000.
Exceeding amounts on the basis of an individual arrangement.

For foreign customers, different payment conditions apply.

 


 

6. How much are the shipping costs?

7. Are all items present in the shop in stock?

Usually all items from the shop are available, unless a delivery date is explicitly indicated.

It may however happen that items are sold out by sales from stock or freight wagon, but are still available in the online shop.
In this case you will be notified as mentioned in item 3.

We are trying very hard to keep the online range at the latest status.

 


 

8. Can I collect and have multiple orders shipped at once to save shipping costs?

This is only possible in exceptional cases and requires prior arrangement.
Unfortunately we do not have enough storage space to make this possible.
We therefore ask for your understanding that we cannot always meet the desire to send orders at once.

 


 

9. Can I get samples?

Unfortunately we do not have ready-made samples for sending.

We can optionally send you a small sample or if it only a few colours, the desired colours.

Alternatively we can offer to send colour copies of the samples.
You can also download those yourself in the shop for many standard items.

 


 

10. May I use the item pictures?

Usage of images from our shop is governed by our General Terms and Conditions:

§10 Use of product images
Clients of Scheffer & Wiggers GmbH are permitted to use product images from our online shop under the following conditions:
If the photo is used as advertising or product photo in the shop or on the website, the item must be purchased previously.
Usage of images in order to offer items that were not yet purchased, is definitely not allowed!

 


 

11. Are there prescribed sale prices, and how should I calculate?

A few items are subject to MSRP (see question12).

If there is a MSRP you will always find it in the item description.
For all other items we do not impose sale prices.

However we ask all clients for a reasonable calculation!
The price battle by the internet is constantly growing so that resale at very cheap prices is increasing. Please keep in mind that many retailers have to pay salaries for employees, rents, packaging licences and much more. In addition from a certain turnover payment of sales tax has to be made.

Therefor we object to “Junk Prices” on Facebook, DaWanda and other online platforms.

12. Do I have to respect MSRP?

The MRSP (Minimum Recommended Selling Price) is, as the name suggests, a recommendation.
Its purpose is to enable our clients to a reasonable price when reselling.
There is no legal obligation to comply with these.

However, we wish that this is respected.

 


 

13. When a payment with discount deduction is useful?

A payment with discount deduction is (almost) always useful!
The discount is virtually a rebate. If you wait with the settlement you will let this rebate pass by.

 


 

14. What if my address, name or anything else changes?

If there are change, please apply them in your account and send an additional e-mail to verkauf@s-w-stoffe.com, as changes from the shop are not automatically applied to our merchandise management.

 


 

15. How do I change my password?

Under ‘Account Information’ (link) simply check the checkbox for ‘Change password’ and a mask for entering of a new password opens. Confirm it by clicking on ‘Save’.

 


 

16. Wie ändere ich meine/n e-Mail-Adresse / USt-Id.-Nr. / Benutzernamen?

Under ‘Account Information’ (link) you can change your old e-mail address / VAT ID No. / username and confirm the change by clicking on ‘Save’.

 


 

17. How do I change my address?

In the address book (link) you can change your billing address and your shipping address.
Additionally, with the button ‘Create new address’ you can create new addresses.

 


 

18. How do I find out the item number of an item that I ordered before?

Under ‘My orders’ (link) you can see your previous orders and look the sought item up.
